Joe Hertenstein made a name for himself on the international Jazz scene as a most creative, virtuos, and even visionary drummer, percussionist, composer, improviser, conceptualist and bandleader. Coming back to NY from presenting a group at the legendary German Moers Festival in May, and after a two weeks European tour in April with the NY Jazz trio REMEDY featuring Thomas Heberer and Joe Fonda, he is performing seven concerts in NY with different ensembles, including two concerts with the 2023 Grammy winning pianist Leo Genovese. Please join us in appreciating Hertenstein’s unique music.
