Deutsches Haus at NYU presents the book launch of Beginning to End the Climate Crisis: A History of Our Future (Brandeis University Press) with the book’s authors, Luisa Neubauer and Alexander Reppening, as well as the book’s English-language translator and the director of the Center for German and European Studies (CGES) at Brandeis University, Sabine von Mering. This in-depth conversation will focus on German climate activism and justice, what must be done to protect a livable future for our planet, and what lessons a U.S. audience can learn from their European counterparts. Alexander Reppening and Sabine von Mering will participate in this event in person and Luisa Neubauer via Zoom.
