German-American School Manhattan (GSM)
GSM officially an IB World School authorized to teach the Primary Years Programme.
German-American School Manhattan (GSM) is proud to announce an important milestone: GSM is joining the ranks of schools worldwide that share the honor of being IB Word Schools.
GSM is a German-English dual immersion Preschool & Lower School in the heart of Tribeca, NYC. The school is accepting students starting at 2 years in the Preschool, as well as Elementary Grades K-5. The unique offering of the school is a transdisciplinary program of inquiry (POI), that organizes and optimizes bilingual learning. The standards for core subjects (German, English & Math) have been reinforced by using the most comprehensive assessment tools. Being guided by the IB curriculum framework allows GSM to stay true to their original mission: to prioritize socio-emotional learning and celebrate a global mindset while adhering to the highest internationally benchmarked academic standards. As a young school (founded in 2018), GSM is proud to be an official IB World School authorized to teach the Primary Years Programme (PYP).

Open House (May 13th)
GSB is currently accepting applications for the 25/26 School Year for Preschool (starting with three-year old’s) through 8th Grade. Attending an Open House is a great way to get to know the school and learn about the well-rounded academic program and the approach to dual language learning. You will tour the new facility, meet faculty and staff, hear from parents, and have a chance to speak with the Head of School.
GSB is an international school offering German and (new!) Spanish immersion programs. The school is a diverse community of students, teachers and parents, ambitious at heart, and optimistic for the world.
