The Consulate can be reached by almost all bus lines which head to Downtown Chicago as well as by subway (Red Line). The nearest Red Line stations are Chicago and Grand. The entrance is on East Huron Street.
Parking facilites are available on West Huron Street, 2 blocks west from the Consulate's building.

Please note that an appointment is necessary for the processing of most legal and consular matters at the Consulate General in Chicago. To make an appointment, please use our

Telephone calls regarding passport and visa matters are taken Monday and Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Calls regarding passport and visa matters cannot be taken outside of this time window.

Please note: Due to space restrictions, it is only possible for people to enter the Consulate General if their personal presence is necessary for the application. We also ask that you do not bring any luggage or other bulky objects with you to your appointment, as it is not possible for these to be stored.
